About
Currently based in Washington D.C., I bring a breadth of experiences garnered over years of service with the National Park Service and U.S. Department of the Interior. This journey of public service has deeply entrenched in me a profound appreciation for our society, fueling my drive to champion sustainable practices and initiatives.
Transitioning from the oil industry to becoming a park ranger for the National Park Service, I have woven within me a tapestry of diverse experiences and unique perspectives.
Much like the intricate compositions I captured as a photographer for the San Antonio Current, I have observed, understood, and documented complex narratives. Just as every photograph tells a story, so does each step of my career. I’ve approached every opportunity as a learning experience, a chance to prioritize growth, and as a platform for narrating underrepresented stories.
Every project I embark on reflects my cognizance of the present, my meticulous examination of the past, and my forward-thinking approach towards the future. These projects have manifested into leadership positions I’ve held, professional experiences I’ve obtained, and educational goals I continue to pursue. It serves as my blueprint for creating a future that resonates with environmental balance and cultural sustainability.
My commitment to culture, team, and mission is the foundation of my goals and I am eager to bring my expertise and commitment to your team.

My academic journey began at the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned a B.S. in Biology, specializing in Ecology, Evolution and Behavior. This strong foundation in environmental science drives my passion for leveraging technology to address socially important challenges. I'm currently furthering my expertise at Boston University, pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration, with a specific interest in the intersection of technology, culture, and sustainability.
